I found this memoir well worth reading on several levels. It was well-written, yes. But the emotional tone and the characters were more novel-like than memoirs usually are, and the story engaged me right at the beginning. I found it hard to put down! I am constantly amazed by how some people can overcome the most difficult, dysfunctional upbringings. Not to say people don't have issues as adults, but to see how they break the pattern and move on is inspiring. Larry Harris the author did a amazing job for his first book.Product details

I wish the book was a little more detailed, but still It is a interesting read. I'm from Baltimore, so I support anyone from my city. I'm wishing the Author Larry much more success in the future!
It was a great book that make you wanna have a voice and to accept your flaws and live in your truth!
I loved it, from the front cover til the back. You will not be disappointed with this book at all. I stayed up pass my bedtime reading.
This is one of the best reads that I’ve journeyed in a long time. I felt that I was looking at certain portions of my life as I was reading along. I didn’t want to put the boo down. I am admirable of those who are bold enough to not only tell but to live in their complete and honest truth.
AMAZING story, I love how Larry wrote a letter to every person who have had an impact on his life whether good or bad. I loved how he released all he had held inside for each person and was unapologetic for it. Very therapeutic! The book continues and I start to realize who Larry was/is and why he's the way he is today. Very talented in many areas and destined for stardom. Larry's story was very raw and real and he let it all out on these pages. The man behind the Mask is one to be reckoned with. Can't wait to see what's next.
